I'm always wondered why uneducated couples have a wonderful home than Educated ones.

I believe that there is no perfect marriage but most people always try to apply mature in other to save their homes.

I expect more maturity from educated couple base on their knowledge, experience and exposure, yet some of them stil end up on divorce while uneducated one try to manage Thier home and leave longer.

Most of those okada have more than one wife but their wife never divorce them.

For marriage to last dey most be a fool, either the man or the woman.

as much as there is nothing that proves the above, i would assume that an uneducated person would stay married because thats his only option, while an educated person would have plenty of life options.

Op You are right! Uneducated people don't divorce due to many factors like have exposure influence conflicting information lact of access to social media and are very religious. For Educated people they believed so much nonsense like Equality Feminist Generally socialist orientation and do not believed that marriage is sacred. Hence in the society today we find many literates filing for divorce laying claims to what they probably don't work for, they had lost the true value of marriage, reason while marriage was established in the first place FAMILY. Educated people are educated they don't give a fu*c what society thinks about their actions as long as it gives them peace but uneducated people are afraid of critism and what will people say so they endure and suffer no matter how tough it is.

If majority of Nigerians are educated do you think they will allow all this bullsh,t from the government? And That's by the way

It's possible that your impression was the case way back when higher education was not the standard, and education was not a major factor in a family's financial stability and well being, but it's most likely not valid today. My thinking is that in Today's world, education helps you to make higher income, and educated people who make more money have more stable marriages

I don't think this is fact based but some conjectures can be formed around these issues. Education basically gives people power to make meaningful and profitable decisions and hence does not necessarily lead to higher divorce rates particularly when you have not controlled for some other key factors that could be driving divorces. Divorce is predicated mainly on stark differences/disagreements and tolerance levels between/of the couple. This makes divorce driven by character, ideals, dispositions and lifestyle and not only the intellectual capacity of couples. However, I can theorize that given the character, ideals, disposition and lifestyle of a couple, divorce is highly likely among educated couples because they have the power to get a divorce and survive socio-economically. To break this down, imagine Mr. A and Mrs B. are both educated but Mr. A is a traditional womanizer who would like to have multiple sex partners but would not tolerate his wife doing the same (lifestyle) and Mrs B. is a radical feminist (ideals). If these two happened to hide their lifestyles before marriage they will get married and have children but soon enough their lifestyles will come to the surface and when that happens Mrs B. being a radical feminist would like to also enjoy the privilege of having multiple sex partners like her husband and soon enough her decision will be confronted by her husband's counter position. Both of them can easily seek a divorce because given their character and lifestyle they have the power to survive economically and sexually thanks to the power granted them by education. However if both of them are not educated and Mrs B despite being a feminist is a key economic player in the home, Mr A will have to make his activities top top secret and if madam finds out he would have to apologize, whine and beg because he knows he could easily get into economic hardship without the support of his wife and this could happen the other way round where the woman is economically dependent so even if she is a feminist she would have to endure living with her philandering husband because she would find it difficult surviving a divorce. So in a nutshell, education alone does not drive divorces there are other factors and those factors are strongly connected to character, lifestyle, attitudes, worldviews, traditions, values and other difficult-to-measure variables.
