Great job.. Sir..! Have u tried visiting a place as saminaka, lere lga, of kaduna state..? grin
#I Think Your First Herbicide application should Be Gramazol..
#fertilizer application per-hecter(npk=3bags{either ocp 45:0:0 or magic 15:15:15} ;urea=7bags per Hectre)
Thus,
**3bags npk x 10hectres=30bags or 40bags bags
**7bags urea x 10hectres=70 bags or 80bags
According reagional looks your Land Is 75% humus.. Contact Me For More Info (o7o16151023) because I would Like U 2mix with white Or brown beans(cowpeas) during july or August

It's White, Late maturity and 75 Days maturity

I chose late maturity because, the yield is higher than the early maturity.

Your Farming Time Should Be This June month ending Or July by 1st week of the month

Your corn is nearing 2 months now and y are preparing for harvest......

At this stage i ask, are u selling fresh or dry, If u are selling fresh the price of fresh corn has dropped, there is glut in the fresh corn market currently, but if are going to dry your corn please state the strategy you would use to dry ur corn, i want to believe the coming august break is too short a time to dry out ur corn as any little moisture in d nteak will lead to either fungus over growth or seeds germinating on cobs

U planted white so u are definitely selling dry

200 HECTARES AVAILABLE FOR FREE LEASE
Am the agent to the land. The owner has his farm somewhere in the vast land and as a form of encouragement to youth like us to engage in Agriculture, he offer to lease part of the land almost free of charge. You can cultivate only annual crops. No cash crops this is because at anytime he might want to expand his present farm to where you may be farming. But 500 hectares is a very vast land and it is located deep inside Bakatari. You will just pay for survey the amount which would be determined by the size of land (acreage) you need And a token of #10,000 for agency. So let us know what you want by answering the questions below:

1. What do you intend to cultivate?
2. How many acres of land do you require?
3. Have you been active in farming or you are a starter?
4. Where have you been farming before now and what do you cultivate?
5. If for example 5 acres were leased to you for 5 years, after expiration of 5 years, are you ready to quit the leasehold?

@ kedoty.

Good job. Keep it up.

Please, when you eventually shell the harvest, give us the average tonnage per hectare, so that we can benchmark this output to your seed brand.

I hope u have executed the right strategy to allow it dry in d sun......I Believe u want to use d dry spell in august for proper dry down but rain this year had been a bitch, any slight rain in august during dry down will lead to sudden germination while maize is still on d plant plus heavy fungus infestation........
Pls discuss how u intend to go about this

Barn is alternative option for me, I've made arrangement with Egun people (those guys from Kutonu) they are specialist in making barn to preserve maize. Hope that answers the question. Thank you

This Egun people, though many are born in farms are not technical farmers, storing ur output in hand construted barns “called Aka” with little control of insect pest will eat into ur profit...... many of this barns are not immune to water entry in tough rain fall.....

Finally, is there a market for fresh white corn, im sincerely hoping for this, yield of white varieties beats yellow varieties
