A distraught father who forced his best friend to kill himself when he discovered the man had sexually abused his daughter, six, has been jailed for 18 months in a strict regime Russian penal colony.

The father forced his former friend, child sex abuser Oleg Sviridov, 32, to dig his own grave in a forest in the country's Samara region.

Sviridov died soon after from knife wounds following a fight with father Vyacheslav (Slava) Matrosov, 35, who secretly buried his corpse in the unmarked grave.

I believe the Judge who pronounced 18 months imprisonment hasn't contradicted the Country's laws.
