If they want to help the ynuths, let them pay them N50,000 per month and change their lives, federal govt. has the money.

Everyone in my camp is happy about the news. Let's wait till the end of the month though. If implemented, its still an improvement. Just hope the cost of living doesn't increase too.

Re: Corps Members' Monthly Allowances Has Been Increased. by yusuf2(m): 8:53am On Jul 12, 2011
What a pity, after how many years? a graduate is going to be earning less that 20 thousand naira per mnt to serve his/her fatherland for a whole year, d ironical part of it is that it is more than a 100% increase frm the previous pay, whoever said nigeria was blessed. Smh. Corpers are supposed to be paid based on the federal gov standard salary structure for fresh graduate intakes depending on certificate type (bsc, hnd, etc), they even do more work than less qualified officers  where they are posted for primary assignments.

So because of a small change increase, people who used to agitate for the scraping or review of nysc have thrown all these into the ditch and ya'll happy, wow!
