Lucasmuyiwaa: Pls don't go to that house tonight I don't know who to trust between your dad and your step mom Just go with a friend tomorrow listen to their talk, turn back to where you came from Meanwhile apologies to him and that's all Even if they ask you to stay or come back home, just tell them that you need a break From that moment, start seeing yourself like a visitor in that house As a matter of fact, let them whole family start missing you As you go, start finding your bearing Your journey to freedom and success have started 27 Likes 2 Shares |

If you are sure your dad listens to your step Mom and you really trust her, then you should go back home. 3 Likes |

Don't go hone tonight. Tell her to wait till in the morning. Then in the morning call either your paternal or maternal uncle and aunty to go with you in the morning and plead with your dad. Then get a job immediately the matter is settled. Forget about the iPhone with him. If you move out of his house then you can consider getting your favorite iPhone but for now since you still living with your dad then get an android smart phone. That being said what you did was wrong most dads would be furious but it seams your dad has anger issues too. Try not to always provoke him .cc Lucasmuyiwaa 6 Likes |

neonly: The father didn't make any sacrifice. He brought the op into this world without the OP's permission. So it is his job to take care of him till he can take care of himself. He has no right to seize his son's phone or bully him because he's his father. Children also deserve respect especially as adults. Unfortunately our African culture condones this kind of behaviour from parents. On the other hand, your dad is very wrong for treating you the way he did, and you accepted it as normal and you are trying to pass it on like that is the norm. It is not. Such behaviour from parents should be addressed. It will be best for the op to leave such a toxic environment for his own sake. 47 Likes 4 Shares |

This is a one side story tho. No matter how annoyed your dad was, he should not make attempt to kill u or make u handicap. If u are responsible at 27 you shld be commanding some respect in your family. U are 27 years old ur mate are married. Don't go to that house today. If possible don't go near him again self. Try to find legit job and start a life. He will look for u later. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Your father is irresponsible for trying to attack you. A grown man for that matter, and he wants to break your head because of a f**King phone. You need to leave that house and be a man. Sometimes you gats dey give the old man uppercut for him jaw make him body calm down. I hate abusive fathers. 9 Likes |

He knew I was into exportation of Petrol to Cotonou before the work stopped due to border close down and too much customs officials on the road. OP....so you are one of those people who take our subsidized petrol out of the country and sell to people in Benin republic, at our expense. That's a big reason why Nigeria cannot fund its budget adequately. We lose billions subsiding petrol for people in other countries. 5 Likes |

27 is almost 30 sir. What are you doing in your father's house?? No matter the cost, leave immediately. If you have to carry blocks, carry blocks but your growth is being stunted. At 27 you're still begging your dad for your own phone? You're old enough to have kids of your own sir. Please find some courage and start life on your own. 18 Likes 1 Share |

I feel your pain bro... If everything happened exactly the way you put it out here, then your father is wrong on every level. First of all, that house is not conducive for your habitation. There's no way you'll really make progress in that kind of atmosphere. You need to leave fast. You are going serious verbal, emotional and physical abuse. Please leave. As harsh as it may sound, but your Dad failed in his responsibility as a parent. How can you seize the phone of a 27 year old. Then there's something he didn't do when you were a child. Parents make a lot of such mistakes. They don't invest in their children from the beginning, no skill investment, emotional capacity investment etc, then at the latter years, they expect the child to be an angel and become the best child with unquantifiable success. You cannot give what you don't have. Your Dad lacks skills in emotional control, and the earlier he realises that a 27 year old is not a 7 year old, the better for him. I am giving out 5 plots of 500sqm piece of land @ N2.5m each. Original price is 7m. Only 5 plots are available for this massive Ramadan price slash. Seman metropolis estate Lugbe Abuja is located behind Dunamis Glory Dome, and beside River park estate, along airport road Abuja. This is a once in a life time opportunity.
