The rate at which fashion trends in Nigeria is very high.People adopt every fashion idea that they think is unique which is one of the biggest issue a Nigerian fashion designer faces.

1 Being underpaid: A typical Nigerian might see a picture or design of dress worn by a celebrity and they will demand the exact replica from their local tailor knowing fully well that the amount they are paying for the dress is nothing compared to the price of the original design. This is one of the few reasons we get "what I ordered vs what I got". So much drama

2 Trend: Nigerian tailor are often affected by the unending fashion trends. The rate at which this trends keep changing doesn't give time for this tailors to upgrade themselves.

3 Inconsistent power supply: The sole factor that allows a cloth to come out nice is ironing. When seams are well ironed, while sewing it makes even a roughly seen dress beautiful to behold.
