Nollywood Actor Leo Mezie is dead, IGBERETV reports.

He died on Saturday, May 14, 2022 after a long battle with kidney disease. The actor who had been battling a Kidney disease, had a transplant last week. However, he began to develop complications. Sadly, he lost the battle on Saturday.

His colleague, Chioma Toplis, announced his passing on social media today.

''Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday in Abuja while recovering from kidney transplant. His corpse has been moved to Umuahia his hometown. RIP Leo'' she wrote.

Eiya. Rip to him. He has finally gone to rest. The guy's been battling with his health for some years now. I think it's kidney problem.

Finally this guy died, After battling with this sickness. What a pity!! The deaths in Nollywood continues.. The first time i watched him was the movie 'Mechanic'. Mr Ibu was also in de movie together with Uche Ogbodo. That was a hilarious one and i watched it severally.

The actors in Nollywood keep dying of organ failures, what's going on? The actresses on the other hand are becoming movie producers and directors. Is it that the men take hard drugs and other harmful substances or what? This can't be called a coincidence anymore.

This can happen to anyone. Yes. Be careful.
Our people take lot of alcohol, many takes hard drugs even street children take it these days.
Bad economy increases pressure in our system.
