Currently, I need funds to raise my business, got some funds locked up in piggyvest (piggybank) till the middle of next year. Is there a way to use piggyvest safelock as collateral to get a loan from any place?

To answer your question what you're offering as collateral can never qualify as collateral.

Here's why:

- Only you have the password to your online account and your profile on Piggyvest or whatever

- The investment was done in your name therefore by default you are the first payee when it matures and is due for redemption

Only a very foolish or ignorant person will accept this as collateral cos it's as good as having zero collateral; lending money to a Nigerian without first obtaining a good collateral is a suicide mission
