It is arrogance. The US grew balls after the fall of the USSR and China was still building itself up slowly. The US power was unchallenged which hereby made them drunk with pride and arrogance.

All countries allied with the US are nothing but vassals and lapdogs. Their alliance won't last longer.

I don tire for them. Now is when we should be getting off the shackles the west has on Africa. If they call on Russia to help build rockets, satellites and teach them how to circumvent sanctions, Russia will surely come and help.
