The Ogun state police command through his spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi has advised Nigerian hip hop singer Portable real name Habeeb Okikiola to report himself or will be arrested if he fails to do so.

However we have found out why Portable ordered his boys to beat up the victim.

The victim, DJ Chicken is a former associate of Portable before things fell apart. Portable and DJ Chicken used to hang out and promoting each other. According to Portable, he claimed he always come to him for jingles which he often did for free. He said Chicken demanded money from some show promoters before releasing his contact,

Chicken says Portable abandoned him since he has made it.

Both have been having on and off spat on social media, Chicken mocking Portable of not been able to speak good English.

Portable accused D.J Chicken of a direct message to his wife advising him to send away the boys around him.

Chicken was however tricked to a meeting for a truce, unknowingly he walked into a trap set for him

“You said they don’t have glory, now tell us which of them doesn’t have glory”

“E no eleyi paa jo” (beat him mercilessly) Portable ordered as he turned his back and said ” Video it, Video it” while his boys descended on D.J Chicken..

Reports revealed the assault on D.J Chicken took place at Odogwu Bar, Oke-Osa, an area in Ilogbo, Ota -Ogun State.

How someone will be happy at beating his friend and former associate just because you've made small money still beats me. Wonder why the Police is giving him leverage to report himself when they should go all out immediately to arrest him. This is highly unacceptable!

Portable is just finding it hard to cope with his sudden wealth and fame.
