I could possibly agree with you on why a baby would be abandoned, but this was not a newborn. A mother or someone cared for this baby for a couple of years. So it was not likely the woman was violated and impregnated. Could it be financial hardship?

Either way, good on this man for stepping up where others would not. It takes a big heart to completely love a stranger, especially one that cannot help him or herself.

Mentally sick mother + abnormal father = future serious psychological complications.

FACT IS THE GUY IS TAKING A BIG RISK BRINGING THE BABY HOME - SCIENTIFICALLY , THERE IS 89% PROBABILITY THAT THE CHILD WILL HAVE MENTAL ISSUES - REMEMBER, PSYCHIATRIC PROBLEMS COMES IN MANY SHADES.
