bruh!�they talking about “AFCON 2022”.

They are not talking about just AFCON but CAF awards. CAF is the general body of football in Africa and it cuts across AFCON and every other competitions organized in Africa and also the players plying their trades both home and abroad. It is just like FIFA not nominating a player for FIFA Best because the player didn't go to the world cup. No one expect Osihmen to win but he was better than some players nominated there last season.
