I cringe everytime I see the Fanta Rap, especiacially when that toothpick guy starts to swirl. I cant never call dat a dance. No way

I like the cowbell advert, but when ASISAN (Insurance Dept) in my school were doing there day,the DJ used the song as intro,o'boy,i appreciate and love it more,so definitely,it's my no.1.

As an advertising practitioner, I still disagree wt the nomination of the Indomie 'Mama U do good' advert. One, l am shocked that lndomie approved that advert. lt is targeted at children and the use of pidgin English at thier age, to me, l feel shd not be encouraged. Secondly, the setting and outlook of the children used in the advert does not truly show children that have adopted pidgin englisg as their ligua franca at home.

If the advert was done in real english and then translated to pidgin for a particular target audience, it then would have made more sense.

For these reasons l feel it should not make a Top 10.

I've seen the Indomie ad in more than one language - the mother changes, the language is different, but the children are the same. I can only assume they used pidgin to reach as many people as possible. I have more of a problem with the idea of feeding children Indomie than with the Pidgin English employed in the ad.

I can say with all certainty that the cowbell ad was shot in Nigeria, in fact it was shot in Surulere and all the models where Nigerians.
