If Odumeje did not try to obstruct the demolition, he would not have been beaten. Nigerian security operatives are inhuman. Beating Odumeje is uncivilized. But many Nigerians surfer the same thing on daily basis and people do not complain much. Odumeje is not more human than those other Nigerians. If you keep quiet when it affects only the poor masses, do not make noise when it affects the rich. |
