Efcc, is this judgement, what type of judgement is this.....option of fine of money he can easily do away with, considering the amount of money he has gotten through fraud......

Did EFCC deliver the judgment?

Instead of shinning teeth, we ought be outraged. There should be a public outcry. EFCC always comes up with these types of ridiculous judgments. Obviously arranged with the judge and the guy's lawyer, after collecting serious bribe and all parties paid off. Then the press will enable it by blasting headline with the fake judgment.

Imagine 50 million fine for 1 billion theft (in today's naira)

Next is Obiano

You see why people will continue to steal huge sums of money?
Someone stole over 431 million naira and after 9 years of having invested that money and earned probably more than double that amount, a court somewhere is giving an option of a fine of 50 million naira!
Excuse you!!!
Someone please show me where I can STEAL 500 million naira!

No sir/ma, efcc seems to see the judgment ad a kind of achievement, which is not, they should rather appeal or do whatever it is they can do to obtain sincere judgment....this judgment is in no way discouraging people from financial fraud

After 5 good years on one case. If they had jailed him since 2016, he would have finished serving by now.

I don't understand the judgement, someone stole something well above 100 million and you gave him an option of working out freely by paying 50 million, what happens to the rest of money he allegedly stoled?

They are telling you that if you want to steal ,go for bigger bags and wait to pay 10.5% of what you've stolen... Na Petty thieves go collect long term cause them stupid..
