Today is another TGIF and I want you to go into this weekend and reflect on today's post. Because as simple as it is, this might be what is holding you back either from qualifying or moving on to the next level.

Frankly, fear has held you back from the personal and professional success you were meant to enjoy; which God has given you the divine right to enjoy. However, you must master your fears and increase your resilience so that you can regain control of your life and achieve your vision of success.

Fear is one of the greatest obstacles to your success, happiness, and fulfilment. It is one of the most difficult to combat. It roots itself deep in the subconscious. It darkens your dominating thoughts, colouring your perceptions and, in turn, your physical actions.

But fear does not have to write your story. It is simply an emotion - one that can be mastered and channelled to work for you, rather than against you.

So, as you go into this weekend, I want you to reflect and find out the reason you are yet to move to the next level in your ICAN Exams. Here are some of the reflective questions to ask:

1. What are you afraid of in this ICAN Exam?
2. Why are you afraid to write the ICAN Exams?
3. Why do you like to postpone the exams when an event which just happens for a week or 2?
4. Why are you hesitant to write the exams?
5. Why do you give excuses knowing fully that it won't lead you anywhere?
6. Why will you attend class then decide to always postpone the exams every diet?
7. Why do you have low self-confidence?
8. Why exhibit passive faith?
9. Why do you always wait till the last minute before you take your studies seriously?
10. Why don't you study on a daily basis despite knowing that your success depends on your daily studies?
11. Why are you consoling yourself with excuses, despite your awareness that excuses will not be accepted in the marketplace.?

Go ahead and discover what and why you are holding back, then decide if you want to take the bull by the horn or if you still want to continue consoling yourself while your colleagues get ahead of you in life.
