The Academic Staff Union of Universities
(ASUU) has maintained its ground that the
Union will not rescind the five-month-old
strike by members of the union across the
country.

ASUU should have pity on the Nigerian students, the only people who care about them are powerless to do anything while the ones that have powers to do something totally don't give a damn about them. The president doesn't care, the VP doesn't care, the legislature doesn't care, the judiciary doesn't care, the traditional rulers don't care. One half of the religious leadership don't care because they own thriving private higher institutions which thrive more when govt's owned institutions fail. Once again, ASUU please have pity on education and accept the offer of the uncaring govt for the helpless parents' and students' sake embarassed
