Many people choose to study a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finland thanks to the high quality of education. But that’s only one of the reasons. Students from the EU/EEA also benefit from free tuition as long as they enrol at Finnish public universities.

But what if you’re a non-EU/EEA citizen and you want to study in Finland without breaking the bank? Is that possible? The answer is ‘yes’ and we’ve compiled a list of local higher education institutions that offer affordable studies.

We’ve created these lists based on the programmes and universities listed on Mastersportal and Bachelorsportal. This means the lists don’t feature every single school. You might be able to find other affordable degrees or universities in Finland.
Universities can add or remove programmes periodically. If a university on these lists no longer offers an affordable degree, simply use the filters on our portals to find other universities that do.
