Why not regularise the ones that meet standards instead of outright shutting down considering the fact that Anambra has only 229 Secondary Schools.... that means majority of Ndi Anambra attend "illegal" unapproved schools if you extrapolate the percentage of approved secondary schools with total number of schools at all levels. I hope he knows what he's doing. He's yet to initiate his own project. Only destroying what others initiated. The masses might end up hating him . He destroyed building. Destroyed market place. Now destroying school's. He should understand that those schools he is destroying is also the school that the poorest parents in the society can afford to send their children to. In my own opinion, he should have given them warning and time frame to meet up with the nenecessary requirements.... Anyone who fails to meet up can now be sanctioned or dealt with. inoki247: You and I know that many Nigerians run mushroom low-standard schools in this part of the world. Even school drop outs who have no knowledge of administration and academics start school in one corner and produce corner corner products just because of money and nothing more. Let's be objective, if a true leader will fix this country, a lot of destruction from foundation must be done because the structure has been standing on a wrong foundation since 1960 and the rot is getting more complex everyday. Kenneth4u205:If you read the whole news you would have seen where he asked the schools in question to go and get registered and do the needful for the school to b inspected and approved,I believe if the school does that now they won't b shut down... primary and secondary school is d most important school in a child's life and it's also d most sensitive,so I think ,at least they should meet up with d state government's requirements 11 Likes 1 Share |
