I would like to start my journey into tech and i have got a 4 gig ram hp. Now i am without a smartphone and at the point of getting one. I want to replace my stolen iphone 7 but have been wondering if it will create a problem for me if i want to transfer files to my smartphone from laptop. So this is the point where i would like to know if gadget compatibility is all that necessary in tech journey in order to be sharing files or if i can do without it i mean get iphone instead of android.

I want to start with front end or back end then java or i start with AI. Thanks
