At least 19 billion out of the 40 billion is going directly to buying arms for Ukraine while over 6 billion is to support NATO. This is in addition to $30m per day spent in the first five weeks of the conflict. This is only from the US, and excludes money and weapons supplied by other countries like UK, Poland, Germany etc. Remember, America also spent 8 years training and arming the Ukrainian army only for Russia to be decimating it slowly in a war of attrition.

Keep talking. United States approved 40billion for Ukraine, which is almost equal to Russia military budget. Approved land lease for Ukraine which is almost 30 billion, EU has spent almost 10billion plus Japan, newszeland, Australia, with all the weapons pumped into Ukraine.
Ukrainian army is second only to Russia in terms of military size, and now the most equipped military in the whole of Europe aside russia.

Not forgetting all the intelligence from NATO and allies, even Poland send their best battalion into Ukraine, plus thousands of mercenaries, plus the media hype. Still russia is collecting their lands piece by piece and Ukraine is losing men at terrific rate.
