BREAKING: China has prohibited use of the phrase "Made in Taiwan" on any product the island now exports to the mainland, and now must use the name "Chinese Taipei" or "Taiwan, China".

Apple is asking all its suppliers to follow the regulation.

Most American Companies that engage in mass production are located in China.

You first have to weaken the US dollars, then train them, then need cheap labor to manufacture at a competitive price. China produces more graduate in Engineering than the US. The US is not teaching China any lesson.

Many US companies are already shifting their supply chain from China to India and South America.

Apple is the number one phone reatailer in China. but their phones are produced in Taiwan. So for the phones heading to the Chinese market, they have to conform to the ruling. However, devices going to the US will most likely not have such a thing.

It is happening faster than you think. Well this isn't the main issue. Both China and America are dependent on each other. Many american companies have China as their biggest international market and share technology with China due to government requirements.

If it is about divesting supply chains, that can happen but they risk losing access to the Chinese market. The goal now is to look for new markets in emerging countries which many are doing right now.

G7 announced a $600 billion investment package for Africa last month. The economic race for the African market is in full swing. My only problem is that African countries are still too absorbed in internal issues.

Forget that thing. Which long term planners? Afghanistan? Iraq? Ukraine? How has their long term plan turn out to be? 80% of their lithium battery comes from China. 90% of their vitamin c is from China etc.

So abeg forget that thing. Their leadership is just a shortsighted as ours. The only thing they can have in their sleeves is cause trouble everywhere hoping they can come off top. But reality is beginning to sink in. Countries are seeing them for what they really are and are standing up to them.
