At around 4.00pm, 12,065,803 registered voters out of 22,120,458 had cast their vote.

This equates to 56.17 percent of voter turn-out, excluding voting through the manual register. Further, the Commission has noted there are still long queues of voters at the polling stations.

In areas where voting started late or were interrupted such as Kakamega and Makueni Counties, time lost will be compensated.

That means, there are still “rooms” and loopholes for there to be “Official manipulations” of the results, even though they used “Electronic Transmission”.
Thus,, The Nigerian Election of 2023 is definitely going to be more transparent than whatever Kenyans did on the 9th of August, 2022.

3. With the total population of Kenya projected to be around 53,771,298 as at 2020 (https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/kenya-population),, it means that only about 40-to-41% of the total population of Kenyans were the ones who registered to participate in the elections.

The Commission has three tallying centers at the Constituency, County and the National, which is right here at Bomas.

1. Constituency Tallying Center: Tallying of results from polling stations and declaration of Member of National Assembly and Member of County Assembly; and collation of Presidential, Gubernatorial, Senatorial and County Woman Member of Parliament.

2. County Tallying Centre: Final tallying and declaration of Gubernatorial, Senatorial and County Woman Member of Parliament.

3. National Tallying Centre: Verification of transmitted image of results Form 34As against original Form 34As. Verification of constituencies Form 348s against their respective original Form 34As, collation of Form 34C, confirmation of Constitutional threshold of 50 percent plus one vote and 25 percent of majority counties, declaration of Presidential results, and issuance of certificate to the President-elect.
