No matter the level of mockery, I stand with ASUU.

They should have mocked FG rather for failing the students
Don't mind them. They think they can escape bad leadership, just because they are not victims of ASUU strike doesn't mean that bad leadership will not hit them in another way. Instead of them to sympathize with their fellow students, they are busy mocking their fellow students forgetting that no condition is permanent, those students facing ASUU strike might be successful than all of them including the one that type that rubbish in future.

what were people doing when their counterparts were making money ? I don’t mean any hurt or insults. Just saying the bitter truth
there's nothing truthful about this truth. Life no balance. Some people work their asssess off and yet don't make it. It doesn't make them lazy , fate just didn't smile on them. If you're privileged, thank your stars but don't undermine others coz you may not have survived in their shoes. ✌

i so much believe in sowing one’s garment according to one’s clothe per time. I wasn’t a product of expensive private university. I lost one year to a protracted strike. My younger sister had the privilege when it was her turn.

If I make it , my children will get better. But that one is not privileged would not be the reason why those who are should not enjoy it and who cannot afford it be getting envious

The universities should be autonomous and self financing. Students will be happy to pay higher fees for the better courses with good international recognition. The FG simply can't fund everything anymore.

I prefer a hybrid system. I do fancy what happens in Europe where university education is heavily subsidized.

I am by nature right wing but I have seen the massive benefit low cost university education has had on students from poor background

I remember an accounting student in Unilag who requested for my pot of spoilt egusi soup which I was about to dispose of. That stufent is now a chartered accountant with several houses to his name. There a tree thousands like that.

I remember the first classmate of mine I saw in 2001 with a mobile phone was one from a very poor background.

I support autonomy with some financial support from the government to assist indigent students. For many, it's the only route out of the underclass.

In Hong Kong, students from poor backgrounds find it very challenging getting places in the principalities universities. This just isn't fair. For many, they will remain stuck at the bottom.
