i just went through your post, na why i say 4gb ram then perhaps I'll upgrade to 8 later and same with the battery upgrade to double cell, still not possible to get any dell for such amount?

Core i5,3rd gen( even a laptop with 2nd gen will do), 4gb RAM ( you can buy another 4gb RAM by yourself to reduce cost) and SSD (256GB at least)

The SSD will help boost the speed plus the total RAM of 8gb and you're good to go as long as it is for programming.
