The Fully Funded Mastercard Foundation Scholarship opportunity is available for candidates who wish to pursue a master’s degree in South Africa for the 2023-2024 academic session.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) is targeting academically independent yet economically deprived young people in Africa who will underwrite the transformation of the continent through their knowledge, attitudes, skills, and values affirmed by their leadership.

Community service and internships are essential components of the Program. The MCFSP proposes a full scholarship to designated students who already have provisional admission to study towards a postgraduate degree at UP. Graduates must return to their home countries on completion of their studies and give back to their communities. Applicants should not already be in possession of a Master’s Degree/Qualification.

Candidates are required to follow the application instructions to avail Mastercard Foundation Scholarship:

To use the online Application system, you will need Internet access and an email address that you can access regularly. As soon as you submit your online application, a student number (EMPLID) will be sent to this email address as confirmation of receipt.
