Overview:

As the Video Content Creator, you will manage material such as camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects to produce a final film or video product. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the finished result.

Responsibilities:

Shooting videos/ camera handling.
Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
Consulting with the production team throughout the project.
Creating the final cut for broadcasting.
Providing Video Content to ensure an excellent production.
Preparing and presenting reports to senior management.


Requirements
You are qualified for this role if you meet the following requirements. Ideally, you:

Are excited about working in a tech startup making impact in the African intercity mobility and logistics space.
Bachelor’s degree.
Previous work experience as a video editor.
Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe after Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro.
Creative and artistic skills.
Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
Portfolio of completed film productions.
Ability to work to a tight schedule.
Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
1- 3 years working experience.
