I'd advise you to look inward and choose something you are conversant with. Private business have zero guarantee. You might make N10million profit each month for the next 3months and be broke for the next 2years due to instabilities. Use your head.

Joeboi, i doubt if you are really a farmer. If i may say, you're simply an arm chair consultant looking for whom to scam. Poultry farming, no doubt, is profitable especially with the xmas period fast approaching but you have to be really knowledgeable on the on the operations e.g breeds, brooding, feeds, drugs, environment, intended market etc. Moreso, if you want to go into poultry farming, it is advisable to start small and get enough experience over time as it is equally a risky business if not well managed

The one business that i sure know of is cat fish farming cos over the years i happen to be involve in this field as though commitment is required,you can make more than 2000 naira a day and with a new technology selling at two thousand dollars that a colleague of mine told me about you can grow fish to maturity in one month instead of the usual three to four month that means more money in the bank for expansion

@G Dex you have to be careful on the type of business models you will follow most especially if you have not been involved in any kind of business before. The result Mr A will get is usually different from Mr B even under the same business environment. The very reason why most businesses fail after two years for those that are able to make it upto that is lack of training and learning from people that are already doing the right thing. You alone know what you have passion for that you can turn in money. Or simply find something may be a service that sombody is already providing think of how to provide same at a cheaper rate and bingo! you are on your way to making even more than 2,000 naira a day.

Keke napep delivers 2k per day. It costs 370k, registration at park with other papers will cost about 30k. Alternatively, look for a big retail market where pepper is sold, buy 2 grinders give the machines out to some1 u can trust. A grinding machine delivers 1k per day.

@PYX, pls stop misleading nairalanders seeking for help. polultry farming is lucrative but projectn will be better put at 75%,which is 3.75crates per day @ average price of N650 will give you N2437. cost of feeding 150 birds if you make ur feeds like i do shd be 18kg per birds at N75 per KG =N1350,expected profit in a farm of 150 birds is about 1000,if you disregard the cost of feeding the birds for 20weeks, however, after they lay for about 50 weks you can sell the birds off to cover about 60% cost of rearing.

Please even if na small break down for the bird biz, please post am here for the benefit if all.
