Good day all...
I've this reoccurrence ance that do surface MOSTLY at one sided chick. Although I do have just one or Two ance on the other chick. Its quiet appalling to see all treatments towards this ance seems futile. The Genesis of this ance is still a mystery to me.... But a friend recommended me to use funbact A; it works so perfectly well for him, but it unfortunately worsened mine. Thus leading to spots... I started using skinnel, tho it works and later, ance furiously surface . I decided to adopt d home method- using lemon.. Lemon seems to work just for d mean time... Infact, I'm just frustrated as I ostriches myself from friend and gatherings.... I've no access to any skin doctor... Please any recommendations is welcomed. Just recommend the product- I'm not familiar with chemical terms. Thanks

It's gradually escalating to my forehead.. (I've an oily skin)

Hello There,

I understand your frustration, but I advise you to take it easy or stressing yourself out by worrying over the situation can only make it worse.

Now Acne is a common skin problem and it has been estimated that acne vulgaris afflicts about 79% to 95% of the adolescent population of most countries. However, it can be managed. The first thing we need to determine is what kind/grade of acne you have and then we can tackle the problem from there on. There is no one-size fits all treatment for acne; treatment is always specific to the acne type, causative agent and the likes. That is why I caution you against quacks who just dispense nonsensical and dangerous concussions to unsuspecting folks.

Now, most Nigerians just want a quick fix solution for our skin problems, but that is exactly what worsens the case. You should not be asking for just any recommendation of product to use on the acne, as that would just aggravate the problem further.

Send me a picture of the acne. I dont need a picture of your whole face, but just a closeup of the acne locations, so that I can determine what kind of acne you have. Then i would be able to make a correct prognosis from there on

Regards,

Hello OP thank you for your excellent advice here. Where do I start? I have been battling acne for a long time now. I'm 29 years old. Very ashamed of my face, back and upper arm as they are filled with acne and post acne scars. 3 weeks ago I had a break out and I applied retin A cream on it and I awoke the next morning with a terrible rash on my cheeks and jawline. I stopped using it and continued my use of skineal but it has refuse to go away. I did a little research and I think the ugly looking rash like patches is dermatitis. I just bought doxycycline tablets today and started taking it. Then I also bought Funbact A and neutropenia 2 in 1 facial mask/wash (I used to use these products) tho I have never had any adverse reaction with them. Honestly I feel terrible about my face and it had affected my self esteem as I cannot go out without wearing a thick concealer. Please can you advice me on what to do?

GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!!!. Do you know most people dnt understand the benefits of facials?but first why do we need facials, because of acne also known as pimples which is one of the most disturbing but yet most common skin issues today, but that's not the only reason. Do you know the human skin sheds every 28days? and if the dead cells are not removed from the skin with the right products,a person can get itchy skin, dull skin, skin discoloration, fine lines, rapid ageing, clog pores, and so on. At FDM skincare,we provide the right facial kit that gives you that flawless and spotless face. Our kit is compose of HERBAL SOAP:very effective for removing every form of pimples from papules, pustules, zites and so on. Good evening Dr randv, I appreciate what u av been doing with this wonderful thread.... please I do not know exactly the kind of skin that I have, but one thing I do kno is that my face seems to be oily almost all the time, gets dry as soon as I take my bath or wash my face, only to be oily a while later, I break out a lot, although, it has reduced over the years, mostly blackheads, it hides under my skin, I use to carefully squeeze it out, I meant carefully because it will get irrited otherwise, blackheads is not something that jus disappears, as soon as I spot the black layer, I squeeze it out to completely bring out the round like whitish stuff, then it leaves a tiny hole depending on the size, also, I have black spots and scars on my face .....

Anyways, I recently got ''funbact a''' Ghana. Marketed.... I need to know if it will work fine with my face.... I use safeguard soap lemon fresh.

Thanks in advance...

Hi RandV, do you recommend funbact A. I'm trying to use it to treat some blackheads, black spots and restore smoothness to my face. I have a generally dry face but an oily nose. How do I keep my nose dry. What cream do you recommend for me that doesn't cause heat. And also the blackheads on my face has defiled medications. How do I make my face smooth and clear all the dark spots? Thanks in anticipation

Causes
- These spots form due to accumulation of waste produced by the high production of free radicals found in the skin.
Suggested Treatment
1. Scrub your skin at least once a week with a brush made from natural fibres.
2. Take Vitamins A, B complex, B5, D, E as well as Calcium and Magnesium.
3. Take Aloe Vera Gel (juice) to detoxify the liver.
4. Yoghurt assists in production of B complex vitamins.
5. Eliminate too much sun.

Hello All,

Trust you have been ok

I have been away from the thread for a while, so I just need to clarify a few things;

1. My name is Opeyemi Oluwajenyo and I am a Female Professional Technician. I help people with Skin Problems and related Issues. I can help with specialized skin problems, but in the case where I cannot, I will try to refer you to who probably can..

2. As you are all aware, I don't recommend any privately manufactured products that claim to transform your skin in just a matter of days. As I have always maintained, make sure you buy well known products that have readable and verifiable ingredient listing.

3. If you post any questions here, and I don't reply you early enough, pls feel free to email me or chat me up on whatsapp. My contact details are; opeyemi.omezie@gmail.com and 08023312137. In addition, in the case I don't reply you quickly enough on any of these mediums, please try to be patient (or try to buzz me a reminder - Pls don't berate me for not attending to you immediately), as I must be busy at the time or may have somehow missed the message, but be rest assured, I will surely help out in anyway I can

That been said, lets get down to business;

Braveht:
Hello Doc
Pls how do I get rid off these stuffs on my nose and around it, I know it as Egusi. Wudn't know what is being called

The stuff on your nose is called sebaceous filaments (otherwise known as Egusi). They are tiny collection of sebum and dead skin cells around a hair follicle, which usually takes the form of a small hair-like strand. They usually have white or yellow color, and can be expressed from the skin by pinching/pushing up of the nose. These filaments are naturally occurring, and are not a sign of infection or any other ailment, they are basically our naturally occurring sebum which is present in our skin / pores / hair follicles.

Unfortunately, there's no getting rid of them permanently. They can be extracted, but even then they usually refill within 30 days – usually sooner. In some cases, even pushing up of the nose does not cause them to be released, and this is usually because of a thin layer of skin that is sealing them up within the follicles.

The best course of action to take is to get a professional facial done to have them extracted. Professional treatments effective for deep cleansing of the pores include machine based treatments such as Galvanic Desincrustation. Skincare products such as charcoal/kaolin masks are excellent for drawing out impurities and excess oil, but my favourite method of treatment is the use of professional strength enzyme peels/masks and products with salicylic acid as an active ingredient.

For a retail product, I suggest Lotion X by Christine Valmy. Otherwise, a concussion of baking soda and distilled water also helps to cause their easy release (though not as effective as professional products)

Trust this would solve the problem

proponent2015:
Dr randv, hope u r good?..I av got some light stretch mark on my laps.I applied funcbact A n skineal but didn't work.

many thanks.

Stretch marks are a tricky bit, and complete resolution is majorly dependent on the Color, age, type and location (upper or lower dermis) of the stretchmarks. in addition, you are compounding the problem by using all sorts of stuff without a prescription. Pls send a picture to me, and lets see what kind you have and then we can take it up from there

Hi Doc,
I need your help like yesterday. It all started 10years ago. I spotted a light patch on my face that looked like excema, a friend on mine told me to use Vecuten. I used it and it cleared after 3 days. When it cleared I stopped only for the light patch to come back more. I used the Vecuten again but each time I stop it multiplies and I have been stuck with it till today. 10 years of using Vecuten. Pls what can I do to stop and have my face back. Now if I don't use this product in a day my face will be full of tiny itchy rash. Pls help doc.

Hi There,

Products like Otentika, Topicreme, Dr Clear and La Roche Natural Skin Brightener, are examples of safe skin lightening ingredients.

They may not produce the instantaneous results that Hydroquinone and steroids provide, but they also would not damage your skin either.

Trust this suffices.
