Nigeria's Super Falconets have been pictured sleeping on chairs and the floors of the airport in Istanbul, Turkey, on their way back home.

The team was knocked out of the quarter finals of the 2022 Under-20 Women’s World Cup by Netherlands on Sunday.

The Super Eagles former media officer, Colin Udoh, who shared the photos on his social media pages said, "Nigeria's #Falconets have been traveling from Costa Rica since 6:30am on Monday.

"They're now in Istanbul on a 24-hour layover and sleeping on the airport chairs and floor, or wherever they can find."

This is bad. People should be losing their job for this despicable act. I won't be surprised if some of these ladies had paid for their own flight. How much would it cost to put them in an hotel?
By the way, the airport is a beautiful.

So Nigeria football federation can't lodge our super falconets in a hotel?

I saw how the cried after losing out and wondered who advises them.

If politicians steal and laugh when arraigned in court, nobody should kill himself over failures.
