My simple answer is that there is no god in the first place to regulate which people roam the earth. God believers don’t like that answer, but that’s too bad. God believers love to give god credit for every single little scrap of good that comes someone’s way, but are quick to make excuses for any disaster and hardship people must endure—cancer, horrible accidents, natural disasters, you name it, it’s not god’s fault!
