1 John 3:6 says, "Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not."

As a Christian genuinely born again and committed to the fellowship of God, the nature of unrighteousness becomes locked out by the divine nature of God that now dwells in you. This reformation gives you the strength of will to eschew unrighteousness. You become drawn passionately into the things of God—choosing to abide in the light of his presence and overcome the darkness of sin and the works of the devil.

Dear friend, God knows your struggles. He calls you to surrender to him so he can empower you to live free from the shackles of sin and sustain you in fellowship with him. His desire is for you to have unhindered access to the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, but this can only happen when you live above sin! Even when you sin, he has given us an advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous, to restore us and cleanse us of the filthiness of our sins.
