I've realised the enormous power of social networking on the Internet and i was wondering how one could create a forum as good as nairaland? Can you geeks out there assist a fellow geek in this endeavour as i have a social networking idea that i reckon could become popular amongst us young Nigerians, Obviously not as innovative as nairaland but close, :-)

Please assist as i'm in a limbo and do not know where to start off!!

Tundewoods the cost will be high dude what they can only give is to customized the site for you and i don't think they will even give your there members.

@Eucild : What i think you should do is to get a domain name for your forum and a hosting for it,  then in your control panel we have same forum as nairaland in the same panel just install and customize to suite your needs.if you need any help just let me know i will be willing to help out. if you need a hosting and a domain just mail uchedealsreal@gmail.com or admin@mysmarthosting.net  and i could help you out to customized your forum.

Thanks for the tips, However Mr Woods i'm sure you know the listed price of Myspace and Hi5 on teh FTSE 100 and Dow Jones at the mo, besides prices are falling on the stock exchange and one day i may just be able o afford a management buy out {MBO of those sites}

What i require however is a Social networking site that targets Young Nigerians exclusively, The organisation in question was created specifically for the serious minded ones amongst us i.e. The leaders of a new generation,

Please check it out and tell me what i'm doing wrong as i've already configured according to our organisational requirements, now all i need is the economies of scale to justify our work and gurantee hits on the pages,
