well play my dear,i went through the shell international vacancies with pain in my heart as usual, not because ther was no opening for me to fit in but becos of what i will want to classify as selfish and ignorant display of environmental neglegence,i am an environmentalist ,i have wactched most of this oil canpanies post thier vacancies hardly do i find a place for the environmentalist and the planners of biogeographic interventions ,its calous to say the list ,those of us who are climatically sensive know wats up with our climatic conditions dat is alraedy hyper fustrated, wen the environment shows its fustration, tsunami is just childs play to wat you will see,i hope sone can tell this guys to spend some money to bring global interventions to the environment, weather producing system are very ambient in their character this days we need to be careful,if i have my way i wll make this oil companies pay.thanks my bros i hope members of the house can benefit ,sorry abt my outb st |

My brother that complained about negligence of environmentalists in tha Oil & Gas industry, The environmental work has been combined in ewhat we call HSE (health safety and environment) but the environmental part is not well emphasised. You can build a career in the sector probably if you go for a certification course in Safety , which is not difficult. It just requires common sence and basic scientific knowledge which i am sure you have. The environmental part is not well emphasised because in the industry (oil & gas), there is a huge amount of environmental pollution and if you are allowed to be involved in it, you will make the companies spend so much money combatting pollution. Cheers. |

am posting a comment for the first time so if this message ends up in the wrong place, excuse me . in addition to the outburst on inavailability of jobs for environmentalists, those have been my thoughts exactly . i studied Crop Protection and Enviromental Biology, a course which i enjoyed immensly and i'v got the grades to back that up ! unfortunately, there are never any job openings for people of our category .am sure the situation's not the same for developed and env-conscious countries. i work in a bank presently and everyday my soul cries out at d 5yrs of univ that seem to be going to waste . but what can one do?man must chop init? |
