Chuks D'General Speaks On Youth Participation In 2023, His Upcoming Comedy Talent Hunt

An Abuja based entertainer, Chukwunyem Jude Israel popularly known as Chuks D'General has called on young Nigerians to make themselves available for participation in the 2023 general elections.

This according to him will ensure a considerable youth inclusion in the next administration to be set up after next year's election.

Addressing a world press conference on Friday, Chuks D'General said there is need for youths to get their permanent voters cards and vote according to their conviction.

According to him, the youths in Nigeria cannot afford to sit at the background and complain but be part of the Nigerian project.

While noting that his advocacy has no political alignment, the comedian said his major concern is the inclusion of youths in governance.

Also at the press conference, Chuks D'General said he is partnering with Blessed Hope Foundation for talent hunt for upcoming comedians at the forthcoming Abuja comedy challenge slated for December.

He announced that upcoming comedians from different part of the country can apply to be part of the comedy talent hunt.

He said different comedians with different talents and humour from all parts of the world could apply for the challenge, adding that the intention is to budding comedians to get first, second and third positions to help their comedy careers.

He said that the winner would go with a N3 million gift, adding that the first runner up would have to learn from the winner on the job.
