A Nigerian woman has cried out for help after her superior reportedly attacked and brutalized her for turning down his advances.

She alleged that she was stripped n3ked by one officer, Ajayi Mathew in front of other officers and civilians.

Showing the injuries on her arms and chest, she explained that she didn't do anything to warrant the assault, save for rejecting his advances.

She said she explained to him that she is a married woman and cannot give in to the affair and he ended up trying to "blackmail" her before proceeding to attack her.

Not holding brief for her superior but I have reservations. Additionally, physical assault against an erring subordinate is sheer act of irresponsibility and very pedestrian.

Having said that, ladies trying to gather sympathy with these stories of turning down sexual advances being the reason for their woes shouldn't be taken lightly again. Already getting out of hands.

Most ladies are very indiscipline and always in the habit of playing the feminine cards when sanctioned. Some of them will shout on their superiors and the ogas are always very careful because they know what ladies are capable of doing.

For the oga to damn all consequences and go ahead to sanction an erring female subordinate, her indiscipline must have attained the greatest height.

All the same, physical assault on erring subordinate, male or female, is a very condemnable act and the oga need to be taught a lesson for such. The lady should also be punished if found guilty of whatever offence she must have committed imo. Feminine card shouldn't be an escape route for indiscipline.

Does it mean that he can't report to the force headquarters for appropriate measures to be taken against her, if there's no superior female officer that can be recommended to sanction the erring female? Must he hit a woman, even if she shouted at her? Na he employ am? And here you are so quick to dismiss the lady without putting in your thinking cap.

For a lady to come out and make such claims and even giving hints to the possibility of people witnessing such barbarism means that the officer in question deserves a room orderly trial and appropriate sanctions netted out to him where he is found wanting.
