For me I'll advice you to read mdn documentation. If your do you'd become a god in frontend. They invented the web so no one has a better documentation than them... Be guided don't get lost while using mdn

Are you sure because everytime i recommend Comp Sci books, people just rush off to web dev, are you looking to design websites or Core programming ?

I advise you do some research first before deciding what to embark on,so you don't waste your time.
