Before he was elected he made many big promises - to close Guantanamo, shut down the CIA's secret prisons, end America's Unilateral foreign policy, revive the economy and end the intelligence agency's "enhanced" interrogation programme.  Before him was the brash Texan George Dubya  who in my opinion simply managed to wreck the economy and tarnish America's global image.

American politics are like a self governing machine.the president is pretty much like a mascot,but the real leaders are behind the scene.
obama may have had good intentions,but he had to realize that the usa is not run by good intentions and slogans.this is the strongest country in the world.the president is there to represent us to the int'l community and veto a couple of bills if need be.

just to say that,only history and future generations will tell us if obama delivered or dissapointed.

so far he is acting like any us president in the past.a good puppet of the lobyists and the elites.
