I remember when the business newly hit Rivers State. Everybody wanted a taste of what peers abroad enjoyed. The complex was always full with exposed Nigerians and a few local breeds trying to belong. Parents brought children to experience the big screen and sound of cinema films. Bars, lounges and shops littered the complex. There was always a reason to burn hours at the location.

All of a sudden, silence. The building left to rot. I read somewhere that Ben Murray Bruce was under investigation for mismanagement of funds. It’s almost eleven years since the business packed up here. No hope?
