Did he take some nkpumiri before?

He just has to go. He's incompetent. Very shallow upstairs. Not worthy of that office. Lower the bar of the office to an all time low.

Oversaw massive naira decline never witnessed before.

Enriching the banks at our expense. Withdraw money you are charged. Deposit, you are charged. Transfer, you are charged. Receive deposit, you are charged.

Other bank withdrawal through the ATM, you will only get 10k per withdrawal but in your bank, you can withdraw 40k at a time, thereby paying 35 naira after the 3rd withdrawal in a month not mentioning 4 naira per sms received. And he introduced it immediately he was hired.

Banning importation of goods we don't have an advantage there killing the naira and he wished to achieve the opposite. Dollars rose from 400 to an all time high at 830 as a result of this Ill time policy.

We used to buy foreign rice at 17k but now buying locally produced at 43k and he didn't reverse the useless policy.

Used foreign cars were used to be bought at 700k at the average now 2 million plus due to hash policies.

Sack him now to save our economy!!!

This only accentuates how monetary and fiscal policies under APC and Emefiele have been flipflop and unstable. Nigerians made terrible mistake voting APC in 2015 and they would make greater one if they fall for OB/LP propaganda in 2023. The consequence will massive.

I weep for this country.

Funnily, you would not be able to point to the group of people/politicians mounting untold pressure on Meffy.

Their next plan is to plot his removal and ultimately kee the policy even before the kick off date by suspending it for one flimsy reason.

I fear northern businessmen tax evaders for their uncanny love for raw cash.

Dense idiot

For your small okoro brain this policy was instituted by Emefile to curb vote buying abi.

You forget that life exists after elections and that if this policy is allowed to be in place the larger economy and already impoverished citizenry will only get worse.

But I don't expect a petite trader mind to reason between buying and selling chinko fake products to truly understand the gravity if this stupid policy

He does not know what is doing, at least a good policy maker would
have make some finding and secretly sample peoples opinion on what he's intending to do.

The major reasons for the policy was the insufficiency of newly introduced naira notes in circulation, hence he decided to formulates the policy that'll enhance reduction of its usage in cash.

He try as he succumb to peoples views.

Relief at last. A return to sanity.

He should simply revert to what previously existed.

Blaming money outside the banking system as the cause of inflation is simply disingenuous and living in denial.

Buhari's meddling in the fx market and this governments loose fiscal policies are the 2 primary causes of high inflation rates the economy has been suffering from.

Rather than tell truth to power, the CBN governor preferred to put the blame on the public and corrupt politicians and punish them as well.

Based on your last paragraph, its very possible that emefiele is being vindictive because of the way he was outwitted at the APC primaries

If a politician is prepared to pay the right amount, some bank managers will risk their career to break the CBN rules on withdrawal.

Desperate politicians will find a way around the withdrawal limit.

He is lucky that the cabal joined him to chop CBN money. They cannot use EFCC as it will lead back to then, they decided to use DSS.

I will vote for APC, this policy can never be against APC candidate, if you know, you know...

But my own is, after election, will it affect the citizens? YES!

Which set of people will feel the pressure most? Traders.

Who are the traders
Your guess is good as mine.

So don't wish Tinubu bad because of election. It'll still come back to bite you.

It's better we all condemn the policy now..don't be an hypocrite!
