Many Feared Dead As 40-Feet Containers Fall On Cars In Lagos (Photos)

Many persons have been feared dead after a 40 feet container fell on cars at Cele bus top on the Oshodi Apapa expressway, Lagos, today December 22.

Photos obstained by HGS Media Plus show's the damaged cars following the unfortunate incident.

For one, these trailers shouldn't move in daylight but at night when there's less traffic.

Secondly, these containers are hardly ever secured on the trucks. Government officials that should enforce compliance will look the other way because of bribery and corruption.

Innocent individuals looking forward to Christmas and the New Year will now lose their life because of accidents that are needless and avoidable.

People continue to die because containers continue to fall on cars.

History continues to repeat itself because the government is doing nothing to change the outcome.

This is terrible

Rest in peace to the departed.Things like this will continue to happen in Lagos if drastic measures are not put in place to prohibit movement of heavy trucks on major roads, and find alternatives like train to carry goods.
