I am working on a website for African artist to sign up and display their art. It is free to join but there is a mentorship service were I personally market such artist work and set up a source of income for them (that might not necessarily be through direct seles of their artworks but alternative means capable of earnings practically unknown artist at least $200+ monthly, after 6 months of implementation and it's passive income, you can still have your originals).

The free version is no different from what the renouned artist, Ben Onuorah has been offering at fineart.com.ng (check it out).

Would you be interested in taking part in the beta test to come out January?

The only thing holding me back a little is the big Budget (members would have their own login, dashboard and portfolio). By April it would have international e-commerce capability.

UPDATE: It turned out little bit more complex than I though, so am taking a similar approach (but the goal remains the same which is having a trusted e-commerce).

Beating down the budget until I learn to construct it myself. Hiring a developer that would always be consulted for updates is sadly not sustainable for a small start-up.
