Well.. i don't blame the police spokesman who made these ridiculous statements, afterall many nigerians believes in these spiritual realm jargons. This is a very good excuse to murder people in Ligeria. Infact, all the murderers in prison, including boko haramites, herdsmen, kidnappers and armed robbers were also under this same spell so they are nice people, their crimes were as a result of spiritual spells that possessed them.

I knew they will frustrate the case and sweep it under the carpets like the other murder cases by Ligerian useless policemen.

I believe the police spokesperson is also drunk, in short, he might even be stone cold drunk when he made this statement. Like he doesn't even know accused state of origin, and he is busy thinking he is from Plateau state. Chai.

Most of them are already cursed, especially with the way they arm-twist people and collect money. Once a Policeman forcefully collect money from people he should expect to be cursed. I used to tell my brother, whose wife is a Police woman not to allow his wife to use proceeds of arm-twisting to buy anything for their children. She use it for herself but be ready to face the consequences alone.

To be honest, if you read what happened, you'll understand why the police is saying this.

From what we heard, it was a stop and search operation. The police man was said to have asked them to pull over. As they were waiting for the car in front of them to move so that they could park well, the unfortunate incident happened.

I mean, there was no justification whatsoever for him to have done that. The first thing that came to my mind when I read that story was accidental discharge of firearm.

The story went further to say that the suspect also threatened to shoot the sister of the deceased. Asin, does that look ordinary? I think he panicked or something like that.

Honestly, I feel for both families. The family of the deceased for losing a loved one and the family of the suspect for the shame and misery he brought to them. Thirty three years of service all gone down the drain in split seconds. He's definitely going to spend a long time in prison.

I know we're angry and disappointed. But after all the emotions, let's sit down to properly analysed what might have happened. Let's temper Justice with mercy.

Would I have said this if she was my loved one? I don't know.

RIP to her and I pray the family gets the fortitude to bear this grate lost and I pray justice is served.

Ok let the judge crack jokes with him in court then ask him to pay 50k fine.......that would be mercy enough for you

I still cant wrap my head on what could have made someone who is about to retire in next 2 years having spend 33 years in service shoot a pregnant woman. I mean did the gun explode or what! undecided
Someone told me that maybe it's karma caught him probably pertaining that he must have done something terrible in the past.

1. I was told he is a very nice man, he went further to say I know him. Sir, please how can you say you know him, yet you really on hear-day to judge someone you claim to know character?

2. I think he is from plateau state; someone you claim to know very well and even attest that he is a very nice man, you can't tell his state of origin.

Irresponsible and irrelevant response from the police. Such insensitive pronouncement is least expected when the corpse of an innocent pregnant victim is still fresh in the morgue. In any case, the reckless ranting by the nitwit is of no consequence in law.
