Good morning, please, I have been trying to update my whatsapp messenger, it keeps bringing authentication and login into my Google account, even when I tried to download another, it didn't open the play store. Though l logged into my gmail a count, it didn't effect any change.
Is gmail account different from Google account? Please, how do i go about this?

Go to play store, open a Gmail account, and update the app
