Acare home worker who plundered almost £20,000 from the savings of vulnerable residents has been jailed for seven months.

Abiola Akinremi, 41, abused her position as an administrator at the facility, Bostall House in Abbey Wood, southeast London, to make dozens of unauthorised withdrawals from the bank accounts of patients.

she is the administrator there not care giver. Her salary and level don pass care giver own. Well this is very rampant in the western world. The family structure has been destroyed hence many people in care homes have no relatives or family who send them. Leaving their finances to these care homes. Once my children don graduate from school for abroad i am coming back home to retire make dem no throw me inside care home one day hahahaha

Asian youngsters don't send their parents to old people's homes. Sometimes, they even ensure they stay close to their parents (Singapore) or their parents stay alone in rural areas (China, Japan, South Korea) while they are in the cities working.
