Cameroon's President, Paul Biya, 78, today made an official bid for re-election in the forthcoming October elections, after almost 29 years in the seat of power.

Biya is one of Africa's longest-standing heads of state. He benefited from a 2008 constitutional amendment scrapping limits to presidential terms.

While would you expect him to break the PRESIDENT FOR LIFE mandate across much of Africa?

He has all the qualities the facts are: He's only 78 years old young thats only 4 years older than Obasanjo, he's wife is taller than Michelle Obama and his head is bigger than Barrack obama's head.  Its clear that he is being innovative by showing that pensioners can rule Africa and move the continent forward.  By the time he finishes this term he will only be 85years old with a walking stick, that will be older than his role model Mugabe (If Mugabe loses his bid for another term at the tender age of 84  ). The future of Cameroon looks DIM bright indeed
