Tiwa Savage reacted after Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, won her first Grammy award. Savage said that she was happy for her friend and congratulated her on her win.

Temilade Openiyi lost in two categories-the Best R&B Album and Best New Artist-but she still won a Grammy.

Earlier this year, the “Free Mind” singer was nominated for two awards – Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song – for her song “Wait for U.” On Sunday night, she won the Best Melodic Rap Performance award for her work on the song.

Her contribution to the hit ‘Wait For U’ earned her the award. However, it was the opposite for Burna Boy as he lost two Grammy awards. He was left bitterly disappointed after his tracks didn’t win the coveted accolades.

Burna Boy was nominated for two prestigious awards but lost both.
