US Failed To Detect Past China Spy Balloons Over United States: WSJ by Vl3ly: 9:25pm On Feb 06, 2023 |
WASHINGTON—China previously sent high-altitude surveillance balloons over the U.S. that went undetected until after leaving American airspace, Biden administration officials said, as the military salvaged debris Sunday from the downed balloon in a bid to learn more about the Chinese operation. After the Pentagon disclosed last week that it was tracking the balloon that the Air Force shot down Saturday off the Carolina coast, defense officials said that there have been prior intrusions over the continental U.S. At least three of those occurred during former President Donald Trump‘s term in office and once previously under President Biden. https://www.wsj.com/articles/biden-decision-to-delay-shootdown-of-chinese-balloon-questioned-11675616189

opamoses1: Everything you have mentioned, Russia and probably China has their own versions that may sometimes be more efficient but most people in the world use American versions because of the US influence. Most people will not know that the Russians don't use GPS but have their own geolocational technology. This is what the US wants so that everyone will depend on them and it will be easy to catch you when you do what they don't want. They cannot get China and Russia, and it makes them mad. Ordinary 5G technology they are trying to catch up with China. Up till a few years ago, NASA relied on Russia to transport their astronauts to the international space station. There are several other areas where it is evident that other countries are far ahead of the US. Like I say, US is the most influential, simply because of the power of its media. 8 Likes 4 Shares |

mysticwarrior:You are just full of hatred and always bn sentimental. Can't you read where they said they don't want to shoot it down on their mainland not to cause casualties... They let it flow far away over the sea before shooting it down. You think it's your country that do things without reasoning. Abeg jare. |

Cizarr: Lame excuse, why didn't they shut it down when it was still at US controlled water ways before it reached the US mainland? They could have as well left the september 11th fourth plane to crashed into the white house if they really do not want to bring it down in a populated area. Let me ask you this, don't they have air defense system planted in populated areas, and if so why do they have it there if they won't use it to bring down possible threat? My brother don't let those people subject you to a psychological imprisonment with their boldface lie. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

mysticwarrior:Why would they use air defense?..was it a threat...was the balloon firing missiles?.. they have to analyze very well before deciding since it wasn't something very urgent or emergency. I think you know the height in which that balloon is flying... Naw you are talking about air defense. Maybe you actually knows better than pentagon. Everything to discredit America is welcome by putards. |
Re: US Failed To Detect Past China Spy Balloons Over United States: WSJ by mysticwarrior(m): 3:39pm On Feb 10, 2023 |
Cizarr:It's seems you do not know the meaning of "Air defense, Air defense is simply using every strategic means at your disposal to intercept any enemy operated flying objects seen as threat. The way and method the US used in shooting down that balloon is well classified as air defense. Secondly you asked if it was a threat, If it wasn't seen as a threat by the US why would they as they claim "allowed it to glide away from populated areas" before bringing it down? Didn't you also read where they said they didn't know the content of the balloon? If they didn't see it as a threat then what is the purpose of shooting it down? And for how many days would it take a country like the US who boasts of having the best advance technology to "analyzed" a slow moving object like that balloon before deciding what to do? Talk to me bro, talk to me. 3 Likes 3 Shares |
