The accused was brought before the court, docked and the charge read to her, after which she pleaded not guilty having elected to be tried by the court. The prosecution had all their witnesses present., the first prosecution witness was one Mrs Agnes Onigbara , she said at about 3.A.M in the night her husband woke her up that the
y should go into prayers and that while they were at it, they heard foot steps on the roof and after a few minutes there was a crashing noise , they observed that something has crashed into their bedroom through the roofing sheet and asbestos into their bedroom, She narrated further that she shouted “Blood of Jesus” !! and since it was dark they used her husbands phone as a touch light to enable them take a better look at the object which they discovered to be a human being, a woman with just a piece of wrapper barely covering her unclothedness. She said the woman appealed to them not to beat her, but to open the door and allow her go out of the premises.
