A container has fallen off a trailer on Ojuelegba bridge, Lagos on Friday morning, blocking access to the stadium in Surulere area of the state.

The incident was made known by the Lagos State Transport Management Agency (LASTMA) on Twitter.

LASTMA also disclosed that operatives of the Lagos Police Command have been deployed to the area to maintain law and order as evacuation has arrived.

“A 40ft container fell off a trailer on Ojuelegba bridge inward Stadium blocking the entire main carriage way now. Diversion in progress thru the Ojuelegba service lanes.

“Men of the Nigerian Police Force are already on ground as mechanism for evacuation has arrived,” LASTMA wrote.

When I tell people power must change hands in Lagos, some people think it is just for play, can you hear these type of things constantly happening in Dubai, when Lagos had high rise buildings in the 70's Dubai was still a desert, look at how development is moving slow in Lagos because of one man's greed, thank God no life was lost and that is why....

All these happening in lagos may be a sign that God has rejected tinubu. it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the almighty, go and ask pharoah. tinubu should return obi's stolen mandate and ask God for mercy cause hes a forgiving father whose mercies endures forever.

This onuelegba bridge has become a trap and route for falling containers and bad accident. The government should close the bridge (like eko bridge) for one year. Kilodé!

No. Lagos state is too congested. Lagos state is almost the smallest state in Nigeria but is the most populated. Federal government have a lot to do in terms of Nation wide development.
